Irish Cream Liqueur

Recipe

Preparation time - 5 minutes

Serves - 2

Ingredients

150ml double / heavy cream

50ml evaporated milk

2 tbsp maple syrup

25ml espresso

Pinch of cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp orange zest

ice

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients in a large cocktail shaker or jug with a generous handful of ice.

  2. If using a shaker, shake well until the outside feels cold, then double strain into tumblers. If using a jug, stir well until combined.

Assembly

  1. Sprinkle cinnamon powder or orange zest, on the liqueur.

  2. Serve in a chilled glass.

Chef’s tips

  1. Add 75ml whiskey for that extra kick.

  2. You can make this 1 hour before serving and keep it to chill in the fridge.
